Deutschland Deutschland uber alles

Holla hey Sharks,

Yeah kids, we are off to Germany pretty soon. Hope you all had a good weekend and that everyone is equally fit and relaxed.
Koln is not the only big thing coming our way, but I can't tell you more until I will finalise
all the details, but expect more quality games coming up soon, that's all I can say for now.

Well done Hammerheads, for trashing MK Phantoms 8:1, hope you will be able to replicate this sort of form this weekend.

The playing kits situation is fairly sorted, but please don't forget to bring yours!!! (and passport)

Hope we all will have a decent tournament and those that are not coming and feel that they want to leave us a message, then please do so by amusing our e-mail inboxes.

That's all for now, have fun, score goals, make peace and love.

Kussi von Torschuss

PS: Sorry for not delivering this message on Friday as promised.

Big Things Ahead

Well, it hasn't been ordinary week in the life of Shark. First of all, we were all shocked by what happened on Saturday training to Petra, so we wish her the best of luck with her recovery and hope that many of you have visited her in the hospital already. I'd like to thank Jason for letting us know all the details and Franc for going to the hospital with her on Saturday.

Apart from this incident, the training on Saturday was great, as we saw many new faces. I heard from Clas that training on Monday wasn't bad either and that Hammerheads can't wait for their Sunday clash with Milton Keynes Phantoms. I wish them good luck.

Next on our programme: Joe had his 30th birthday earlier this week, so we wish him all the best and he will have his party this weekend, for details see his profile on facebook.

I also hope that despite so much happening, many people will come for Saturday training and that we'll have two hours of fun.

On the league note: NOTHING has been decided about the format as yet, so please stop
panicking. However the date for Helen Gillies Memorial Cup (3 on 3 tournament) has been announced and it is taking place on 17th of October in Godalming. (Translation for Jason:
God damn lming)

So weddings, family members and trips to Columbia are strictly prohibited on that day.
Sexual intercourse the night before is allowed, if it helps to raise your game.

Cologne is two weeks away and I'm really looking forward to this one, last year we had a blast.
(for Alex Molin, if you are reading these lines, you surely know, what I'm talking about, especially when I mention your own words: Sleeping is for losers!)
So if you have not signed up for it already, do it!

Love, peace and floorball!

AGM, Cologne and trainings

Hi everyone,

it's time for your Shark's weekly update and your lunch,

First of all, we had the AGM and the new committee was elected in to their positions as follow:

chairman: Franc

club's secretary: Graham

marketing geezer: Lukas

and new head coach: Fredrik (followed by appointment of Mr. Clas as fitness assistant, from now on known as Mr. Stretcher)

We were also talking about the sponsorship for the up-coming season and we really need everyone to put SOME EFFORT and ask your companies and rich uncles to sponsor us this season.

Also as couple of you turned down Cologne, we need as many players as possible and it is not that funny any more as we want to put together two decent teams.

Trainings

Saturday training itself was very pacey. with enough subs on both sides, well done everyone!!!
We have witnessed the return of Philip and Herr Stephan and saw some new faces around, especially new goalkeeper called Janis.

Monday training was one of the best sessions I had in ages. After our longer warm-up, we've done exercises aimed on passing in high speed with lots of shooting.
Pace and power were the keywords for the day as we practised pressurising the opposition and changing the tempo of the game. I'm sure many of us were hardly walking the next day, but I had feeling that everyone left everything in there. Good times!

That's everything for now and see you all in two days time,

Episode I - The first training

papapaaaaa paaaaa papapaaapaaaa, that was Star Wars rolling yellow text theme music, if u didn't find out already :D

A small number of re-energized sharks came to the first training of the new season this Monday.
After a quick warmup we ran a few simple drills: corners, corners with one pass and finally 1-2-3 which is good to get the blood pumping a bit.
We then decided to work on screening the keeper while at the same time trying to work on deflections, but this exercise more reflected the fact that we needed more shooting practice :)

Then we decided to enjoy the game and played five on five with a mix of great whites and hammerheads. A good pace, intensity and some nice passing from time to time showed that we will have a fun and enjoyable season ahead of us.

Next training is this Saturday where Stephan "Nicht in mein Haus" Geering will start his training but rumour also has it that Philip "Little Spear" Stenvall might try for a comeback...

See you guys Saturday at 12pm at Youth Centre in Battersea,

ICA Entertainment in association with Kussi von Torschuss

PS: don't forget about the AGM on Sat after our training, nominate someone or your-self for the positions.

Hey, it's Friday!

I've got some good news for you: Our team mate (on loan in Denmark) and friend, Nikolaj has became father of the future flooorball superstar. Congratulations to him and to his girlfriend.

Here is the picture of little Ronnow Eckhoff, who is yet to get his name, suggestions are welcome, but I heard it's going to be Lukas anyway :-)

Also earlier this week, someone sent me a video of a fantastic goal celebration and it is probably the best one I've ever seen:

So watch it, as I'd love to practice it and execute it in Germany.

Have fun and see you on Monday!

Hi Sharks and other sea creatures,

This is little surprise to all of you, our very own blog, where you can follow the team news, latest party pictures, photos of your partners naked(oh boy, we've been watching), game previews and reviews, interviews and much more.

So always feel free to comment on them, interact and have in general lots of Sharkish fun.

Because we are here to have fun and I hope that many of you will start following us.
For those of you, who have no clue who we are or would like to join our club,
go on to our web-site and spent there some time reading about those brave young
fishes. (Well, not everyone, Jason, Clas:-)

Cheers,

Kussi (yeah, I know what does it sounds like in Danish and Swedish, but whatever) in association with ICA entertainment

PS: I heard that Iran is celebrating foundation of this blog by launching the intercontinental Great Whites
